Evin Matthews is the founder and sole farrier behind Tough as Nails Forge & Farriery, serving horse owners throughout Northwest Missouri with expert hoof care, corrective shoeing, and rehabilitation work.

Trained at Heartland Horseshoeing School, Evin brings technical precision and genuine passion to every visit — whether it's a routine trim, a full set of shoes, or a complex corrective case requiring extra patience and skill.

Her work with rescue horses, including the herd at FNJ Farms Equine Rehabilitation Center, reflects her commitment to more than just the job. For Evin, quality farrier work is part of a horse's healing — not just maintenance.

When she's not under a horse, Evin is forging custom metalwork and building the kind of small business that Northwest Missouri's horse community can count on for years to come.
